Partnerships

Through Gilman International Conservation (GIC) and White Oak Conservation Center (WOCC) staff expertise, professional affiliations, networks, and conference facilities, we are able to work withother organizations on large- scale endeavors that benefit the world’s biodiversity.

In promoting species based conservation programs, GIC often provides direct support and takes a principal role in managing the conservation initiative such as the Okapi Conservation Project, Gerenuk Research Project, and the Conservation Action Trust. In other cases, GIC provides support to partner organizations such as the Cheetah Conservation Fund, International Rhino Foundation, and the Northern Rangelands Trust, who then implement and manage the selected conservation programs. In all scenarios, GIC funded projects and programs must support the GIC mission and demonstrate links to the animal programs at White Oak Conservation Center.
